  • Pollinator Day at Texas Science and Natural History Museum

The Capital Area Master Naturalists invite the community to an enriching All Pollinator Day, featuring a workshop on crafting wildflower seed balls for home planting. Experts from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center will share insights on bolstering pollinator populations. Attendees will also experience the Decimation Proclamation art installation, showcasing hundreds of vibrant butterflies, and learn about Central Texas’s native bees from Two Hives Honey. The event runs from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and is inclusive with museum admission.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the museum's own pollinator gardens, receive a guide to pollinator-friendly plants, and engage in hands-on activities like making paper flowers and bee finger puppets with the Beevo Beekeeping Society. This immersive experience aims to educate and inspire individuals on the importance of pollinators in our ecosystem in a fun, interactive setting.
