Zilker Woodland Faerie Trail Opening Celebration and Summer Hours

The 2024 Woodland Faerie Trail is set to enchant visitors at the Zilker Botanical Garden from May 18 to July 13. This unique event welcomes guests of all ages to don their finest faerie attire and immerse themselves in a world where magic meets nature. With 75 faerie homes crafted by the community on display, the event promises a mesmerizing exploration of whimsy and creativity.

Opening day festivities include arts and crafts, interactive dance with a faerie, and scavenger hunts, ensuring an engaging experience for everyone. The trail features an array of activities like Fairy Flight classes for creative movement, Miniature Magic to create tiny terracotta gardens, and workshops on flower pressing and faerie crown crafting. This enchanting summer event is a celebration of imagination, community artistry, and the playful spirit of the fae folk, all nestled within the natural beauty of Austin, Texas.
