The 2024 Celebra Grapevine event, themed 'The Music That Unites Us' or 'La Música Que Nos Une,' will take place in the afternoon, starting at 2:00 PM. The program features a diverse lineup of performances that celebrate various musical traditions and cultures.
Attendees can expect to enjoy the Mariachi Pura Sangre de Javier Aguilar, which promises to deliver a lively mariachi experience. This will be complemented by the Bandan Koro African Drum and Dance Ensemble, showcasing the rich rhythms and movements of African culture. The event will also include a Selena Look-A-Like Contest, adding an element of interactive entertainment for fans of the late artist.
Additional performances will feature Flamenco Passion, bringing a taste of Spanish dance and music, and Academia Así es Mi Peru, which highlights the cultural heritage of Peru. The presence of Las Reinas de Mexico and Danzas Araguaney further illustrates the rich tapestry of Latin American traditions being celebrated at the event. Banda Cuscatleca and Bombazo DFW will continue to enrich the musical offerings with their unique styles.
The event will culminate in an awards ceremony at 5:30 PM, followed by a performance by The KonKón Band, ensuring a festive conclusion to a day filled with cultural engagement and musical celebration.
