2024 Frisco Oktoberfest
The 5th Annual Frisco Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, October 5th, at The Star in Frisco, running from 11 AM to 9 PM. The festival offers a full day of German cuisine, traditional Oktoberfest games, and live entertainment. Attendees can enjoy authentic foods like elk brats, German sausages, Bavarian pretzels, skillet potatoes, and turkey legs, while sipping on a variety of Oktoberfest beers.
The event also features a variety of engaging activities for participants and spectators alike. Visitors can take part in the Wiener Dog Race, Brat Eating Challenges, Keg Rolling, Stein Relays, and the popular Bier Stein Hoisting competition. In the stein hoisting challenge, participants must hold a full stein of beer without bending their arm, with all proceeds benefiting the Frisco VFW. The Brat Eating Competition will test participants to see who can consume the most brats in 120 seconds, while the Keg Rolling and Stein Races will offer fast-paced challenges throughout the day.
There's also a Mr. & Ms. Oktoberfest contest, where attendees dressed in festive attire can compete for the audience's vote. Additionally, the Dachshund Dash invites all dachshunds to race in a fun competition for pets. Registration for activities will be available at the Activities Tent on the day of the event. Frisco Oktoberfest promises a day filled with excitement, traditional festivities, and plenty of fun for all.
