2024 Independence Day Family Fun Weekend at the Dallas Arboretum
The event kicks off on Thursday, July 4th, featuring the Country Critters Petting Zoo at Pecan Grove and the ongoing Floral in Fashion Exhibit at DeGolyer House. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy entertainment from Bob Goodwin at Jeanne's Pavilion and wrap up with a concert by Bad Connection. The excitement continues into Friday, with the petting zoo returning and new additions including KinderMusik, educational sessions with Rusty Allen on gardening, and frozen treats available for purchase.
Over the weekend, the lineup remains vibrant with the petting zoo, daily samples at A Tasteful Place, and the Floral in Fashion Exhibit still underway. Special events include an engaging Window to the Wild bird demonstration on Saturday and performances by Karen Lim-Smith and the Matthew Banks Band.
