  • 2024 Little Farmer Fridays at Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano

Little Farmer Fridays is an interactive program tailored for preschoolers and their caretakers, ideally suited for children aged 2 to 5 years. The program provides families with a chance to engage in various activities including storytime, crafting, livestock encounters, and wagon rides on a spacious 4.5-acre farm.

The event takes place on select Fridays, with gates opening at 10 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to ensure safe attendance management. The program adheres to a come-and-go style, lasting for two hours, until noon, after which guests can enjoy additional time on the farm until the premises close at 2 p.m. Families may bring a picnic lunch or snack to enjoy during their visit.

    The upcoming fall programs include:

    - October 4: Meet the Sheep

    - October 25: Halloween on the Farm

Additional details can be accessed through the provided links. Tickets will go on sale starting September 3 at 10 a.m.

Ticket pricing is structured as follows: $15 for children aged 2 and up, $7 for children under 2 years old, no charge for infants aged 0-12 months, and $5 for adults aged 12 years and older. Museum members can enjoy a complimentary adult ticket with the purchase of a child's ticket. It is important to note that all tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred once to another Little Farmer Fridays event until May 10, 2025, by contacting education@heritagefarmstead.org.
