The upcoming events at the pumpkin patch offer a variety of engaging activities for families and pet owners. The celebration begins with the Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 6 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Participants are invited to bring their pets for a special blessing while ensuring they are either on a leash or in an appropriate carrier. This event will be held outside the pumpkin patch perimeter, emphasizing a communal celebration of all of God's creations.

Following the blessing, a Halloween-themed Craft Night will take place the same day from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Tom Graves Hall. Attendees will create spooky wall decorations to get into the festive spirit. A supply fee is required for participation, and advance registration is necessary to ensure adequate materials are available.

On October 13, a Pumpkin Cooking event will introduce guests to diverse culinary uses for pumpkins from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This interactive session promises to be both fun and informative, celebrating the versatility of this seasonal favorite.

Next, on October 20, STEAM Day will invite curious minds to explore the intersection of science, technology, engineering, art, and math from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Activities will include launching pumpkins, building structures with candy corn and toothpicks, and engaging in various hands-on experiments. This come-and-go event features multiple stations designed for exploration and fun.

The Fall Festival, scheduled for October 27 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, encourages participants to wear costumes and partake in “TRUNK-or-Treating” along with other festivities. This event is designed to enhance the community's autumn experience and to encourage playful celebrations.

Additional activities available during weekends include launching pumpkins with a trebuchet, hay rides (weather permitting), face painting, and access to bounce houses and a pumpkin play area designed for younger children. Concessions will be available for refreshments, providing a complete festive outing for families. The pumpkin patch promises a rich array of experiences suitable for all ages throughout the season.
