    The Garland Asian American Heritage Festival, scheduled for Saturday, May 18, from 2 to 10 p.m. at Winters Park Amphitheater, is set to honor the talent, creativity, and cultural diversity of Asian Pacific American communities. The event, now in its second year, promises a vibrant showcase featuring cultural performances from across Asia and the Pacific, including Thailand, Laos, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, India, Japan, Korea, and Hawaii.

    Attendees can expect an array of attractions such as the Colorful World Parade, a mesmerizing lion dance, and numerous craft stalls and art performances that highlight the artistic contributions of Asian Pacific Americans. This free outdoor festival offers a unique opportunity to immerse in and celebrate the rich heritage and traditions spanning from East Asia to the Pacific Islands, all within the community-friendly ambiance of Garland's Winters Park Amphitheater.
