Celebrate The Solar Eclipse Weekend In Downtown Dallas!
Downtown Dallas is set to celebrate the total solar eclipse from April 5-8, 2024, with a series of engaging events. Kicking off the festivities, Video Art Night with AURORA will feature at Pegasus Plaza on April 5, combining art, technology, and live music. Over the weekend, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities including the Spring Solar Stroll, Downtown Dallas Arts Festival, wellness activities like Goat Yoga, and the Discover Downtown Dallas Movie Series. The highlight, a Solar Eclipse Watch Party, will take place on April 8 at Main Street Garden, offering live music, food, and complimentary eclipse glasses.
Adding to the celebration, the Eyeboretum returns with a 10-day immersive garden experience at The Eye, supporting the Dallas Art Fair's educational programs. Throughout the weekend, visitors can explore over 100 acres of parks in Downtown Dallas, further enhanced by more solar eclipse watching events across multiple venues such as Aloft Dallas Downtown, Fair Park, and the Perot Museum, making it a comprehensive and inclusive celebration of this astronomical phenomenon.
