  • Dallas Arts District Changing Perspectives Block Party

In a celebration of Dallas Arts Month, the Dallas Arts District is set to host the annual Changing Perspectives Block Party, a free, family-friendly event that will feature a spectacular performance by the internationally acclaimed BANDALOOP Vertical Dance Company. Known for their exceptional ability to merge dance and climbing technology, BANDALOOP will showcase their innovation against the urban canvas of the Dallas Arts District, offering a unique perspective on dance by literally turning the dance floor on its side. The event epitomizes the essence of placemaking, inviting attendees to witness the boundaries of performance art being pushed in exciting new directions.

Accompanying BANDALOOP's gravity-defying performance, the festival will boast an impressive lineup of talent including multi-award-winning Tejano music artist Monica Saldivar and Band, captivating entertainer Dezi 5, renowned community muralist Ebony Lewis, and the expressive Bruce Wood Dance Company. Beyond the stellar performances, the event will feature gourmet food trucks, a collaborative community mural, and more, ensuring a rich cultural experience for all.
