  • Osage Prairie South Trailhead

The Osage Prairie Trail is a 14.5-mile recreational path that runs from Tulsa, OK, to Skiatook, OK, completed in 2006. It is maintained by three entities: the City of Tulsa Public Works Department oversees the section from N. Greenwood Ave. & E. Independence Pl. to 56th St. North, while the Tulsa County Parks & Recreation Department manages the 6-mile stretch to the county line. The City of Skiatook takes care of the final section leading to Skiatook. This trail provides a crucial bike commuter route linking residents to the Oklahoma State University – Tulsa Campus, downtown Tulsa, and several smaller trails in the area. Funding for its construction came through the Tulsa County Vision 2025 sales tax and an Oklahoma Trails Grant.
